The 2009 L’Bri National Convention will be held August 14-15. Events will include an evening reception, followed by a performance of The Light in the Piazza, our gala Evening of Awards, and a full day of informational and motivational general sessions and breakouts. The grandest event of the L’Bri year, the 2009 National Convention must not be missed.

Author & Direct Sales Expert to Coach L’Bri Consultants
Author and direct selling trainer, Ilene Meckley, has agreed to coach L’Bri Consultants to even higher levels of sales and sponsoring success. A long-time friend of L’Bri, Ilene was a sales consultant with one of the nation’s leading direct selling companies. During a 13-year direct sales career, Ilene personally recruited more than 650 individuals and built a team numbering into the thousands. She earned the company’s top honors, including President’s Club recognition 14 times, Hall of Fame, and Woman of the Year. Later, she became a well-respected trainer and motivational speaker, helping men and women develop their own very successful direct selling careers.
She is the author of three books, including Highway of Success: Proceed with Passion, based on her six-month recovery following a 2005 automobile accident that led to eight surgeries and learning to walk again.
Ilene said in a letter to Linda and Brian:

National Convention ’09 Moves to the Summer
You Can Earn Convention FREE.
For the first time, our L’Bri National Convention will be a summer event! Consultants suggested we have a summer convention, rather than in April, so more can attend. L’Bri's 2009 National Convention will be Friday and Saturday, Aug. 14 and 15. We’ll soon announce our 2009 convention location, so mark your calendars for Aug. 14-15, 2009.
Show and Sell
Now that you have the date, how about help in earning your way to convention? Starting June 1, 2008 and continuing through May 31, 2009, for every qualified show, you will earn a $5 voucher toward convention expenses.
Hold 40 shows to earn your registration fee of $197.
Hold 75 shows and earn three nights at our convention hotel ($125 a night).
Coming to convention has never been easier or more fun. Show, sell, and earn your 2009 National Convention.
For example, hold six qualified shows a month during the contest period and earn $360 in convention vouchers.

Our Top 10 Overall Achievers, including our Number One “Spirit of L’Bri” achiever will be determined based on total number of points earned between June 1, 2008 and May 31, 2009. You have 11 more months to make it happen!
Our other award categories, top in sales, sponsoring, and number of shows held also will be determined between June 1, through May 31.
Points are earned as follows:
- Earn 10 points for every $1,000 in personal retail sales.
- Earn 5 points for every new Consultant sponsored.
- Earn 1 point for every $100 your newly-sponsored Consultant accumulates during the 90-day Quick Start period.
- Earn 10 points for every qualified show you hold.
Go for it! The L’Bri Overall Top 10 will be determined by the most business created during the 12-month awards period, and not by the size of the Consultant’s ongoing business.
