L’BRI Skin Care Difference

L’BRI vs the Competition

L'Bri Pure n' Natural - Aloe Based Skin CareThere is quite a difference. Aloe Barbadensis Miller is the first ingredient in all of L’BRI’s Aloe Skin Care formulations while most other skin care formulations use water. Why water? It is more readily available and of course less costly to the company. I encourage you to take a look at and compare other product ingredient listings.

L’BRI does not use waxes in any of their Aloe Skin Care formulations. Waxes such as Beeswax, Carnauba Wax, Candela Wax, and Paraffin can clog the pores creating enlarged pores, blackheads, and whiteheads. We also do not use any mineral, petrolatum, or lanolin oil.

These are considered “skin suicide” ingredients because over a period of time they can actually dehydrate the skin. L’BRI products are also free of drying alcohols. Any product that says “keep away from the eye area” should be avoided. These drying alcohols can cause the “lipids” of the skin to become brittle over a period of time. The lipids actually begin to flatten out causing the skin to lose its contour — similar to a balloon losing air. L’BRI’s goal in formulating their products was to create a natural skincare line using ingredients that would heal and nurture the skin.

L’BRI uses an abundance of herbs, botanicals, and vitamins. After researching different products for many years, it was interesting to note that many companies claimed that their products were natural. However, when researching the ingredients, L’BRI found that these products contained only a small amount of vitamins and herbs and that they were commonly found at the END of the ingredient listing. That means that the amounts were included primarily for what is called “good label copy”. Legally, they can say their products contain natural ingredients, but the amount is so small that they do not really benefit the skin. L’BRI products are free of any synthetic fragrances and artificial FD&C dyes. Any coloring we use comes from nature: such as Chlorophyll from plants, beet juice, vitamin B12, etc.

chemicalsWhat makes L’BRI unique is not only what is in their products, but also what is not. A nickel is too much to spend on a product that contains “fillers” such as waxes, crude oils, and harsh preservatives DEA, BHT, and others.

L’BRI’s mission, of course, is to educate consumers on what they use to take care of their skin. Every company says their products are the best. However, by reading ingredient labels, you will be able to see for yourself how pure and natural your products really are. After all you deserve the best!
